Runder Tisch

Staatliche Kunstsammlung Dresden

A round table is often used as a symbolic seating arrangement that does not emphasise hierarchy but the equality of all participants. It is used to clarify divergent interests or to manage crises in order to find a compromise that is accepted by all sides.

The round table is also a form of citizen participation in dialogue and participation forums to develop cooperation between social institutions, municipality, developers and citizens.

A round table big feast follows also almost each of the adventures of a village of Gauls as they resist Roman occupation in 50 BC. It is one of the most popular Franco-Belgian comics in the world.
