Déambule festival des paysages Annecy
Alexander Römer is invited with constructLab by the national theatre Bonlieu for the fresh first edition of Déambule, a festival which showcases performance and contemporary art through a series of installations in the streets and parcs of the historic center of Annecy. During the two weeks of festival the director Salvador Garcia and his team wish to invite visitors and inhabitants to meet around a very long table for a giant Picnic. Three appointments are made and 1000 people are expected! So the table has to be long and has to be adaptable to any local situation: a curving narrow street or large green parcs. Practicable should the table be, transportable, build up and dismantled easily, fast and simple!
150m long, around 120 separate pieces, stainless steel trestles and wooden long slats for adjustable legs. The table-leg can go through the trestles also serves as a fixation for lighting.
endless extendable!
Until: July 23, 2016
