Cooking Line

Workshop ESAA d'Annecy

The cooking line is a culinary performance along a rail, conceived as an image of the industrial production chain.

What do we eat? How do we cook? We make and eat together! We digest together!

The project was organized as a four-day workshop at L’École Supérieure d’Art de l’Agglomération d’Annecy with 50 first-year students, where each participant had to prepare a part of the grand final meal, a sort of feast.

The objective: to find the necessary ingredients and tools to cook and build their own work station, each adapted to their own personal mission. At each cooking station, after being assembled, the menu gets passed along to the next station and so on, the kitchen thus becomes a unique big machine according to the menu.
